What is Dry Ice blasting?

Dry Ice cleaning is often referred to as CO2 blasting and can be used to clean items of equipment such as shafts, rotors, electric motors, gearboxes and pumps.

Dry Ice cleaning is a process in which dry ice particles are propelled at high velocities to impact a surface. The dry ice particles are accelerated by compressed air, as found with most other blasting systems and when it strikes the surface, it will either lift or flush the contaminant away.
